Currently I offer freelance website design and development to customers in and around Chesterfield, Derbyshire, UK, and Jalon, Spain.
I design and make websites for customers near my home in chesterfield, as well as Jalon, Spain, where the company I helped form is based. The Company: Carob Tree Trading

The company was originally a swimming pool cleaning service, It was founded by my family and myself in 2002. In 2009, wanting to expand into other areas, the company was changed to Carob Tree Trading. We now offer pool cleaning, web development and alternative healthcare

A Little About Me

I first became interested computer programming whilst at De Montfort University, Leicester. Having not found my calling, I chose a course involving many aspects of modern media production; web sites, graphics, sound design, photography, 3D animation. It soon became apparent that I had a talent for programming and scripting. I learnt the basics quite easily, it seemed very natural to express instructions in the form of code. Eventually I decided to specialise. After transferring to The University of Teesside, I learnt a lot more about web development, most importantly; web standards and planning techniques. Unfortunately I could not finish my formal studies for financial reasons, I have however, continued my studies privately. Since leaving Teesside I have introduced myself to PHP, XML and have improved my web development abilities through reading books, online tutorials and by setting myself projects that force me to learn new techniques.
